Abstract

The Atraumatic Restorative Treatment (ART) is an including program that inserts all the families, healthy, in risk or sick referring to disease caries, in care of oral health and the preventive and curative stages. This program is connected with the supervising traineeship which is an activity close linked to the logic of the Family Health, developed by Dentistry School of UNIGRANRIO-RJ. It also has the aim of rescuing and maintaining the families‘ health, having in view citizen‘s autonomy, encouraging self care, and also teaching health professionals that are being graduate a critical, reflexive, humane and contextual conduct, to be able to see health care‘s necessities.
