Obsession: the oppression in the novel of Clarice Lispector
Abstract
Obsession is a story pervaded by features that reveal the power and patriarchal oppression of a time when women were considered subject and naivety. Cristina is the character who suffers the tethers of oppression, first with her husband, and even more with the man who is believed to be your ideal. Having recognized the domination, in a moment of epiphany, chooses to return to her husband, which symbolizes a criticism to the passive way that you were inferred, predominant feature in the text of Clarice Lispector.
