ALBERTO CAEIRO: THE POET WHO OPPOSES TO THE “POETICAL

Abstract

Alberto Caeiro (Fernando Pessoa), in this study, will be presented, over all, from its position on the poetry and the poets, the word and the verse. In “O guardador de rebanhos”, Alberto Caeiro, in some poems, refutes all the poetical tradition and its aesthetic artifice; the poetry, for Caeiro, only becomes possible and complete as a poetry in natural state of the man.
