Machado de Assis: press and reading
Abstract
The paper aims to investigate the strategies developed by editors and writers of press culture at the brazilian eight hundred years, to form lecture custom. It aims also to studie the relationship between literature and press in nineteen century and to analise Machado de Assis’s chronicles.
