Abstract

The Educational Product presented here was developed as part of a master's research project linked to the Graduate Program in Science and Mathematics Teaching (PPGECM) at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). Its objective is to contribute to teacher self-education, assisting educators in pedagogical planning focused on Financial Education through the analysis of literary works approved by the National Textbook Program (PNLD) over the past ten years. The informational catalog aims to encourage reflection on the use of these works in pedagogical practice, fostering conscious self-education aligned with current educational demands. The material includes details on eight literary works, highlighting their potential and offering practical suggestions for exploring themes related to Financial Education. The validation of the Educational Product was carried out through a pedagogical workshop with undergraduate Pedagogy 12 students from UFU, structured into three stages: presentation of the material, discussion of the works, and collaborative development of a lesson plan. At the end of the workshop, an online questionnaire was administered via Google Forms to collect data and assess participants' perceptions and contributions regarding the product’s applicability and relevance. It is concluded that this Educational Product makes a significant contribution by promoting the systematization and reflective use of literary works for teaching Financial Education.

Lara, Universidade Federal de Uberlândia

Graduada em Licenciatura em Matemática (2019) e pós-graduada em Ensino de Ciências e Matemática pelo Instituto Federal do Triângulo Mineiro (IFTM) (2021). Atualmente, é mestranda no Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ensino de Ciências e Matemática da Universidade Federal de Uberlândia (UFU). Atua como professora de Matemática na rede estadual e na rede privada de ensino.

Vlademir Marim, UFU

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University Center of the United Metropolitan Colleges (1986), a degree in Science from the University Center of the United Metropolitan Colleges (1986), a degree in Pedagogy from the Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of Botucatu (1993), and a master's and doctorate in Education (Curriculum) from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (2004/2011). He is currently a full professor at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU), Faculty of Education (FACED). He has experience in the area of ​​Education, with an emphasis on Teacher Training, working mainly on the following topics: didactics, mathematics education and teacher training. Full professor in the Postgraduate Program in Education (PPGED), Postgraduate Program in Science and Mathematics Teaching (PPGECM) and Postgraduate Program in Basic Education (PPGPEDU).
